Our rare breed Oxford Sandy and Black pigs are raised outdoors on the pasture where they love playing with the cows and snuffling for acorns. They are fed on organic blends supplemented by excess produce from the farm. Manure goes back into the system to keep the nutrients circulating. When it gets to the end of their life they are slaughtered at a local abbatoir and butchered by us on the farm with as little waste as possible - all extra bones go into stock pots and excess fat feeds the birds.
